The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association

The TBA exists to support the breeding of quality bloodstock and is the only British association to represent breeders’ interests both within Great Britain and the European Commission. Their aim is to assist our members and the industry in all areas of thoroughbred breeding.


Careersinracing, maintained by the British Horseracing Authority is an information portal giving guidance on the careers and training available within the Racing and Breeding industries, as well as offering a free job board for employers and employees. A coordinated careers marketing campaign supports the industries recruitment needs.

Racing Welfare

Racing Welfare is a registered charity which provides assistance for stud, stable and support staff in times of need. They offer professional guidance and practical help to the unseen army of dedicated staff whose work is vital for the well-being of British horseracing.

Great British Racing

Great British Racing is the sport’s official marketing and promotional body, working with all of racing’s stakeholders. Their objective is to grow interest and participation in horseracing – via racecourse attendance, television viewing, racehorse ownership and a lot more.




JETS is a charity set up in 1995 to help current and former professional jockeys plan and achieve a secure future. It is funded by jockeys’ prize money contributions and additional support from The Injured Jockeys Fund.
