TTC Careers Course 2018

Tuesday 13th November 2018 @ 8:30 am - Wednesday 14th November 2018 @ 5:00 pm

| Free – £50

You don’t need to be a jockey to enjoy a rewarding career in horse racing and this two-day event hopes to dispel the myth that you need to ride in order to be part of the action.

The bloodstock industry provides a unique and deeply rewarding range of career options for those who are passionate about racing, whether it be working on a yard, working in an office or finding a solution which provides the best of both worlds, there is something for everyone who wishes to be part of the action.

Britain is one of the largest Thoroughbred breeding industries in the world, supporting over 19,000 jobs. It contributes £427 million annually to the GB economy and ranks amongst the worlds best for breeding with some of the best broodmares and stallions based in this country.

This two-day course aims to provide delegates with an overview of the careers within horse racing from respected individuals employed within the industry, and combines practical advice with external visits to highlight the career and industry training options.
