Based in Newmarket, The Racing Centre aim to improve the quality of life for people working in the breeding and horse racing industry. The centre itself has become a community hub, not only for providing guidance, advice and information, but acting as social arena to support staff in the industry.
The Racing Centre, founded by Sir John Astley in 1893, is an independent charity (1107833) for stud, stable staff and the wider community. From the centre of Newmarket it provides a fitness and rehabilitation centre RaceFit while offering comprehensive event services and a fully functioning bar. Membership is FREE for the racing community and The Racing Centre is proud to promote sporting, social and educational activities.
